Helping in Schools

Interested in working in a school or college but need to develop your skills? In addition to achieving a Level 2 Qualification in Support Work in Schools + Colleges this course will also help you:
- Understand safeguarding, health and safety, and equality,
- Learn about children and young people’s development, and the school/college environment,
- Develop professional communication skills,
- Gain experience volunteering in a local school.
Induction: 27th September, 9:45am-2:45pm.
Course starts: 4th October 2022.
Sessions run: Tuesdays 9.45am-2.45pm.
Course length: 26 weeks (holidays – 25th October , 20th + 27th December 2022, 14th February, 4th + 11th April 2023).
