This Wakefield ESOL course is to support people who have moved into the local community to develop their understanding of life in the UK. It will support learners who have limited English skills to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. Learners who attend this course will be supported to progress onto a higher level course and be able to access local services confidently.

Pre-Entry ESOL: Living and working in the UK

Induction: 23rd and 24th April, 10am – 12pm.

Course runs: Thursdays 10am-12noon, 25th April – 18th July 2025.

Cost: Free if you are aged 19+, on a low income, receiving benefits.

Great community centre! Always lots on here ranging from cscs courses, sia courses and lots more with friendly, helpful staff who go out of there way to make sure you get what you need or a way to help. The on site cafe/snack bar is cheap and has a good selection. Also has a food bank and close by is a nursery and st George's church itself. Give these a try see for yourself x
