Market Stall Volunteer

Are you passionate about helping people, know your local community and want to make a difference?  Come volunteer at our market stall!

What will I be doing?

  • Oversee donations,
  • Setting up the stall,
  • Running the stall,
  • Interacting with the public,
  • Transporting the donations to/from the Stall & St. George’s Community Centre (optional),
  • Money handling.

Where will I be volunteering?

Town Hall Market Place, Ossett WF5 8BE 

What is the time commitment?

Fridays weekly, 8:30am-3:30pm.

Who will I be volunteering with?

Other volunteers.

Who will support me?

Our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Keri.

What do you need from me?

  • The ability to ensure confidentiality,
  • Compassionate and able to treat those in need with dignity and respect,
  • Passionate about helping people in the local community,
  • Flexible, reliable & trustworthy,
  • Willing to work alongside other volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth running of Ossett Market Stall,
  • Able to follow our Safeguarding policies (full training will be provided).
