Volunteer Lunch Club Assistant

Do you enjoy being part of team, providing support to your local community?  If so, you would be an asset to our Lunch Club kitchen!

What will I be doing?

  • Preparing meals,
  • Setting the tables,
  • Serving food,
  • Washing up,
  • Chatting to clients.

What is the time commitment?

Friday mornings until early afternoon (weekly or fortnightly)

Who will I be volunteering with?

Other Lunch Club volunteers and Kaye (St George’s Wellbeing Assistant).

Who will support me?

Our Volunteer Co-ordinator Keri, and our Wellbeing Assistant Kaye.

What do you need from me?

  • The ability to ensure confidentiality;
  • Compassionate and able to treat those in need with dignity and respect;
  • Passionate about helping people in the local community;
  • Flexible, reliable & trustworthy;
  • Willing to work alongside other volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the Lunch Club;
  • Able to follow our Safeguarding policies (full training will be provided).
