Volunteer Minibus Driver

Do you enjoy driving and want to support your local community? Volunteer with us as a minibus driver!

What will I be doing?

  • Providing a door-to-door service for local individuals to access our services,
  • Driving the minibus for longer day trips,
  • Supporting the centre staff and other volunteers to keep the minibus in good, working order.

What is the time commitment?

A day weekly/fortnightly/monthly on a rota basis.

Who will I be volunteering with?

Our volunteer chaperone and other volunteer drivers.

Who will support me?

Our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Keri.

What do you need from me?

  • A full UK driving license with category D1, and willingness to undertake MiDAS training,
  • The ability to ensure confidentiality,
  • Passionate about helping people in the local community,
  • Flexible, reliable & trustworthy,
  • Willing to work alongside other volunteers and staff,
  • Able to follow our Safeguarding policies (full training will be provided).

What do I need to sign up?

  • Application Form,
  • Full UK driving license,
  • DBS check,
  • 2x References.
