Help Shape the Future of Lupset

Have you heard that Lupset’s secured £20 million through the Government’s Pride in Place programme? This investment will support community-led projects and improvements that help make Lupset an even better place to live, work, and thrive.

Key facts

  • £20 million will be invested in Lupset over the next 10 years
  • Approximately £2 million available each year to fund community-led improvements and local projects
  • Residents’ views will shape priorities
  • An independent board of community representatives, councillors and local leaders will oversee decisions
  • Together we’ll ensure the £20 million investment delivers lasting benefits for the area.

Getting involved

We’re pleased to share that St George’s Lupset has been asked by the Pride in Place Board to work with local residents and gather their views on the future of Lupset.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be chatting to people across the local area about how they want to see the money spent, and asking folks to fill out our short survey.  We want to hear what matters most to you, what you value about the area, and what changes you’d like to see.

This could mean:

  • Cleaner streets,
  • Improved parks and community facilities,
  • More activities for young people and families,
  • Greater opportunities to influence decisions about the future of Lupset.

We want to hear from you

Your feedback will help us understand local priorities and shape future projects, activities and investment in the community.  Whether you’ve lived in Lupset for many years or have recently moved here, your views are important.
